Meet our Practitioners

Dr Phillip Hall

Dr Hall commenced work at the Warrnambool Medical Clinic in 2007. In addition to his GP training, Dr Hall holds a diploma in obstetrics and is a fellow of both the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and the Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine (ACRRM). He has extensive experience in all aspects of general practice, with a particular interest in obstetrics, anaesthetics, sports medicine and family medicine. He oversees the continuing education of all clinicians at Warrnambool Medical Clinic, supervises training of medical students in a GP setting and is an accredited principal supervisor of GP Registrars.

Dr Emma Renouf

Dr Renouf rejoined Warrnambool Medical Clinic in 2012, after undertaking her General Practice Registrar Training here in 2007 and 2008. She has a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (with Honours) and a Bachelor of Medical Science from The University of Melbourne (2004). Dr Renouf is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and regularly examines General Practice candidates for the college. Dr Renouf also works as a Cosmetic Physician at Warrnambool Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (WPRS), where she undertakes both medical and aesthetic treatments. During her medical degree, Dr Renouf undertook research in Maternal Fetal Medicine through The Royal Women’s Hospital and The Royal Children’s Hospital (Melbourne). During her postgraduate years, she worked at St Vincent’s Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, The Royal Children’s Hospital (Melbourne) and Southwest Healthcare (Warrnambool). From 2009 to 2012, Dr Renouf worked as a GP at a family-centre medical practice in Ivanhoe (eastern Melbourne). Dr Renouf enjoys all aspects of General Practice with a special interest in Women’s and Children’s Health, Fertility Medicine and Skin Aesthetics and Health.

Dr Dina Elhalawani

Dr Elhalawani holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (Honours) from Alexandria University in Egypt (2004) and an Advanced Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (2012). She has practiced medicine in Australia since 2006, having gained accreditation through the Australian Medical Council and fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), is an Australian citizen and speaks fluent English and Arabic. Dr Elhalawani has practiced all aspects of general practice since joining Warrnambool Medical Clinic in 2012, with a particular interest in women’s health, paediatrics and adolescent health. She is an accredited supervisor of GP Registrars at Warrnambool Medical Clinic and contributes to the teaching of medical students attached to our clinic.

Dr Andrea Hedgland

Dr Hedgland joined Warrnambool Medical Clinic in 2014. She has a Bachelor of Medicine and a Diploma in Paediatrics. She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). Dr Hedgland is an accredited supervisor of GP Registrars at Warrnambool Medical Clinic and contributes to the teaching of medical students on rotation with our Clinic.

Dr Chandanvir Saini

Dr Chandan came to Warrnambool Medical Clinic in 2011. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery University, and is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). Dr Chandan contributes to the teaching of medical students on rotation with our Clinic.

Dr Corsini Aragon

Dr Aragon holds a Doctorate in Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from St Louis University in the Philippines. He is accredited through the Australian Medical Council and is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). Dr Aragon is a permanent resident of Australia and speaks fluent English and Filipino. He has practiced all aspects of general practice since joining Warrnambool Medical Clinic in 2015.

Dr Matthew Birtles

Dr Birtles joined Warrnambool Medical Clinic in February 2018.  He holds a Bachelor of Medicine Degree and has held positions at Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital, before relocating to Warrnambool in 2015 in General Practice.  Dr Birtles has interests in Paediatrics, Men’s Health and Mental Health.

Dr Sharad Rawal

Dr Sharad Rawal joined Warrnambool Medical Clinic in 2016. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the Kathmandu University in Nepal (2005) and a Diploma in Child Health from the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in South Australia (2013). He gained accreditation through the Australian Medical Council, is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP); is a permanent resident of Australia and speaks fluent English, Hindi and Nepali. Dr Rawal gained extensive experience whilst working in Nepal, before moving to Portland, and then to Geelong prior to settling in Warrnambool.

Dr Belinda Bell

Dr Belinda Bell holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Newcastle and came to Warrnambool Medical Clinic in 2015. She has a special interest in indigenous health and her other interests include Paediatrics, Aged Care and Mental Health.

Dr Kate Stotskaia

Dr Kate Stotskaia first joined Warrnambool Medical Clinic in 2015. She returned in early 2017, having taken a 6 month sabbatical to study forensics medicine in Melbourne. She holds a Bachelor of Medical Science (2008), a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (2012) and a Diploma in Child Health (2016). Dr Stotskaia also works as a tutor at Deakin University and is preparing for fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). Her special interests include paediatrics and geriatrics.

Dr Heidi Cutting

Dr Cutting joined the Warrnambool Medical Clinic in 2016, having attained a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Flinders University in South Australia (2012) and subsequently a Diploma of Child Health (2015) and a Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (2016). Her special interests include paediatrics and obstetrics & gynaecology.

Dr Paveen Kuchu

Dr Kuchu joined Warrnambool Medical Clinic in February 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the NTR University of Health Sciences in India (2002). He has gained accreditation through the Australian Medical Council, is an Australian citizen and speaks fluent English, Hindi, Telugu and Urdu. Dr Kuchu gained extensive experience in accident & emergency, general surgery, paediatrics and cardiothoracic surgery whilst working in India, the UK and more recently in Townsville and at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne.

Dr Karishma Karki

Dr Karki holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the Kathmandu University in Nepal and came to Warrnambool Medical Clinic in February of 2017. She has practiced medicine in Portland and more recently at South West Healthcare in Warrnambool, having gained accreditation through the Australian Medical Council and fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). Dr Karki is a permanent resident of Australia and speaks fluent English, Napali and Hindi. Her special interests include dermatology and paediatrics.

Dr. M. Daniel McCubbery

Dr. McCubbery joined Warrnambool Medical Clinic in August 2018 following placements at Bannockburn Medical Clinic and Terang Medical Clinic.  He has previously worked at Manning Base Hospital Taree, and in the Emergency Department of the Warrnambool Base Hospital.

Dr. McCubbery’s is a keen scuba diver, and his interests include rural & remote medicine.

Dr Chandima Silva

Dr Silva joined Warrnambool Medical Clinic in February 2018.  She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka. Dr Silva has been working for four years in the Australian Health Care system and has gained extensive experience in Emergency Medicine whilst working in the Emergency Department of Western Health Melbourne. She is fluent in English and Sinhalese and her special interests include women’s health and paediatrics.

Dr James Webster

Ann Morris Diabetes Educator

Ann trained as a Nurse at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, graduating in 1971. She worked at the Queen Victoria Hospital until she commenced working at the Royal Children’s Hospital where her love of working with people with diabetes began in 1976. Ann moved to work with Diabetes Australia (then known as the Diabetes Foundation, Victoria) in 1980 and remained there until her move to Warrnambool in 1984. She continued to work in Diabetes Education and is now runs her own Practice. Ann is a recipient of the 2011 JDRF “Diabetes Educator of the Year for Impact and relationships”, both the 2016 Victorian Diabetes Educator of the Year and 2016 Australian Diabetes Educator of the Year, and Diabetes Victoria Award for Outstanding Contribution to Diabetes and Diabetes Education.

Diana D’Auria Dietitian

Diana D’Auria is an Accredited Practising Dietitian. Diana is passionate about helping people develop more healthy relationships with food through the Non-Diet Approach and Mindful Eating concepts.

She can offer nutrition education and advice in the following areas:
• Weight management (over or under-eating)
• General health and well-being
• High blood cholesterol
• Diabetes management
• Food intolerances or Irritable Bowel Symptoms
• Emotional and binge eating
• Body image issues
• Bone health

Diana is available for appointments on Thursdays and Fridays.

Deanne Moyle Podiatrist

Podiatrist, Deanne Moyle Deanne graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry from Charles Sturt University and commenced podiatric practice in 2011. She has since undertaken additional training in both Dry Needling and Foot Mobilisation Techniques. Deanne is registered to practice through the Podiatry Board of Australia, its governing body the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and is a member of both the Australian Podiatry Association and the Australian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. Deanne started her career in the North East of Victoria establishing in a private podiatry practice. She then returned ‘home’ to the Western District in late 2013 working for Western District Health Service. Deanne has worked in both public and private practice giving her an excellent grounding in all aspects of podiatry. Deanne joined the team at Warrnambool Medical Clinic in November 2015. Deanne enjoys all aspects of Podiatry including: general foot care (nails, corns, callous), diabetes management, wound care, the high risk foot, paediatrics, sports injuries and biomechanics, but has a special interest in nail surgery.
